Korbin Brown, wide receiver and kick returner for the Portland Pythons, should be up for both best of awards at those respective positions. As a receiver, Brown is 5th in receiving yards, 2nd in touchdowns, and 5th in receptions. Not the most eye-popping stats ever, but when you take in the fact that Portland is 4th in average passing yards per game, 7th in average yards per game, and 4th in points per game, Brown is clearly far and away the biggest offensive weapon for the Pythons and the reason that they score any of the points that they get. As a kick returner, Brown is even more impressive. he leads the league in return yards with 445, has the second longest return on the year with 98 yards, just 5 behind Football league's 103 yarder. Brown is also one of only 3 returners with a kick returning touchdown. This will become clearer as the year continues, but even now Brown shows the potential as perhaps the best weapon in the DSFL, as both a receiver and a kick returner. The only competition I see for Brown as return man would perhaps be Akerele in Minnesota. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
