My teammate running back Mathias Hanyadi is a shoo-in for another RB of the year award. Despite having many options to call plays for in the passing game and having a great young player / future star backing him up in Skyline, Hanyadi has produced significantly more than any other ISFL RB. His efficiency has been great as well. Of all the league RBs with at least 100 carries, he has the second best yards per carry. As you can see he’s not just the result of pounding the ball over and over again. With him being the favorite for RB of the year, that also means he’ll be in consideration for offensive player of the year. This is where in addition to his rushing related stats, we look at his work in the receiving game as well. In that area he has 187 yards and 1 TD to this point. Of all the RBs with an actual RB “tag” in the sim, he has the fourth most receiving yards. That means he’s lining up from the backfield every snap, he doesn’t get split out wide like a lot of other league RBs. Hanyadi has had a lot of success over his career, and I think there’s going to be even more hardware to put in his trophy case after this season. (221 words)
