Written Option: S24 is nearly halfway over, and that means that the races for award season have begun in earnest. In 200 words or more, describe one or more players on your team (which can include yourself) and why you think that they are currently in contention for a particular award. Are their stats on pace to break records, or are they simply leading the pack? Is their efficiency or volume noteworthy? Would they possibly contend for one of the major awards as well?
This one is pretty easy for me honestly, Jamar has been on a tear this year. I've been teammates with Jamar since I entered the league. This guy consistently puts in the work to make sure he excels on and off the field. I would easily put him in for OPOY and possibly MVP for what he means to our offense. Jamar has amassed a total of 591 yards, 7 league leading touchdowns for RB, and averaging 4yds a carry. So, he sits first in TDs amongst RB, and 4th in yds and very well could finish second. Jamar also competes with are super talented other back Cardrissian. So when you factor in what he's contributed to turn around SJS while splitting carries, it goes to show what could be if he had a heavier load. The pretty pick will always be hanyadi, and not taking anything away from him but I believe Jamar with the 30 less attempts is putting together a better complete season and he still has more to show. If we make it into the playoffs look for him to be a key factor in us getting there and having success. That's my campaign for Jamar, and you could easily give Monty Most Improved. Our team is talented and these and many others stick out.
