On my team in Tijuana, I believe probably the best player on our team that I think should get an award more than anyone is Cincyfan96, AKA Adam Schell. Currently, he is in the top 5 LBs in the league, has 52 tackles, 3 TFLs, 2 FF and 1 FR, 4 sacks, and 3 PDs. He is a leader on our defence and has been playing out of his mind all year. He may not currently lead the league in any one stat, but he has good stats in all aspects of the defense and is really well-rounded. Every week it seems like he has a great game and he is one of the most important parts to the Tijuana team currently. I could see him potentially winning best LB, or even DPOTY.
Another defensive player I wanted to mention is Brane_Chyld, ASA Terry Tate. Often forgotten since he is a brand new rookie and doesn't have as many tackles as Adam Schell, there is one thing he does better than Schell, and thats getting sacks. Terry Tate is the LB next to Schell and currently he has 6 sacks. With Terry Tate and Schell next to each other, it creates one of the deadliest tandems in the league. I think he has a solid case so far for DROTY.
Finally, I actually wanted to be a little selfish and talk about my own player real quick. Currently, I am the 2nd best OL in the league behind Clay Stallworth. I am hoping for a big week next week to get me close to 34 pancakes. The reason I say that is because the best DSFL OL season ever was in S18 by Ben, who had a whopping 67 pancakes, 0 sacks. If I can get to 34 pancakes by next game, then at the halfway mark in the season I will be halfway to breaking the record. I think if I am able to keep my production up, I can definitely make it and break the record. I believe me or Clay have a solid chance so far. That's not too bad for the 7th and 9th OL player taken in the draft.
