Despite the temptation to support my fellow OL Bruce Buckley, I believe wide receiver Saba Donut currently has the best shot at winning a positional award. He leads all receivers in catches with 53 (3rd overall, behind James Angler and Jeffery Phillips), is tied with Deondre Thomas-Fox for the lead in receiving yards with 916 (over 60 more than the next closest player) and is tied for 4th in TDs among receivers. Witheblock and Sakura have one more TD, but trail by ~200 and ~250 respectively. The league leader in receiving TDs with 7, Asher Quinn, trails by ~330 yards. His main competition for the award is DTF, but while they are tied in yards, Saba has more catches and one more touchdown. Team record is a wash at the moment, with both teams standing at 6-4 and on pace for a playoff berth. While the Outlaws have thrown the ball more than the Sabercats (meaning DTF has better stats relative to his team), it's important to note that the Outlaws also have much better supporting cast, with Heath Evans and Thomas Passmann also having excellent season. It'll definitely be a close race, but if he keeps consistently producing en route to a playoff appearance, Saba Donut is on pace to take home WRotY for the second year in a row.
