The London Royals defense has been shutting down offenses left and right this season on their way Ultimini. The defense as a whole deserves accolades, but when it comes to individual awards there are three standouts.
Juan Domine – LB
The star linebacker has something to prove this year after being snubbed for multiple awards last year. Domine currently holds multiple Royals records including interceptions in a game and tackles in a season. Juan Domine is a constant presence in the game. He currently has 52 tackles, 5 TFL, 6 sacks, and 5 PDs. He will certainly in contention for LBoTY and DPoTY. If his performance can reach the levels of last year, I think he could be a candidate for MVP. All eyes or on Domine.
Harrison Andrews – CB
The lockdown corner in London is giving quarterbacks a real hard time this season with 6 PDs and1 interception, Andrews also has 40 tackles and 1 FF. If Andrews can keep with this pace he is a surefire candidate for DBoTY.
Busch Light – LB
You know I had to bring myself up. One half of the pair of the dynamic duo of Domine and Light, Light is currently sitting at 60 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 FR, 5 sacks, and 1 PD. Light can do it all. It really comes down to whether Light or Domine is in a position to make the big plays. Similar to Domine, Light will be a top option for LBoTY and DPoTY. It may come as a shock to some, but do not be surprised when he is a top nominee MVP.
