Awards you say. I want to touch on Mathias Hanyadi a bit first. He leads the league in rushing yards, with 960 after 10 games. He only has 5 TDs, but the Rushing TDs leader, Jamar Lackson, has 300 less yards. Even Toriki, who has a better average, by .4 yds/carry, is 200 yards short of the Yellowknife Wraiths #1 Running Back. On top of that, Hanyadi has 184 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown as well. His only competition for the "Running Back of the Year" awards would be Austin Copperheads' Mako Mendonca, who, in his last season, has 354 receiving yards and a receiving touchdown to complement his 684 rushing yards and 6 rushing touchdowns. The RBOTY will play hard between those two. Lackson's high TD numbers may put him in the race, but I highly doubt it. Colorado Yeti's RB Ashley Owens could also have a strong case for RBOTY. He has 595 rushing yards with 5 rushing TDs, and 338 receiving yards with 2 receiving TDs. Toriki could also make a case, but it's weak by the fact that she shares touches with Forrest Gump, effectively splitting touches with him. On top of that, any among Hanyadi, Mendonca, and Owens could even have a bid for the Most Valuable Player or the Offensive Player of the Year awards.
