While the season is already halfway over, and with patterns starting to be established by players around the league, its fun to take a moment and look at the surprising, or not so surprising stars that have shown up. With my recent trade to Portland, I had not gotten much of a chance to know everyone yet. However, there is one individual that has been standing out to me even before the first snap was played this season. Chuck Roth (zeagle1) has made quite the name for himself in this first half of the season. He currently sits at 27 pancakes and only 1 sack allowed. This currently keeps him tied for 4th when it comes to the other OL in the league. However, even though he is not putting up record breaking numbers, his efficiency has been his biggest strength. With Portland not being given much thought for the coming season, the team has really stepped up and put in some great results and who has been in the middle of those results? Thats right Chuck Roth. In the most recent win against Dallas Roth contributed 7 pancakes, which led the team. In the win against KC, Roth also led the team in Pancakes. He is a player that is continuing to grow and improve and I have a feeling the numbers he puts up in the last half of the season will have his names floating around come award time!
