I guess this is a chance for me to gush about my own player. Last season, Galf Wilf, won the Defensive Player and Linebacker of the Year awards, and this season he is right back in the thick of things for both of those awards. Wilf and the Outlaws started out incredibly slow and have found a period of good form the past couple of weeks that has brought the team and Wilf back into contention. Wilf is tied with 2 others for the league lead in sacks, which seems to be the biggest driving factor for linebackers, and his pace the past couple games has been fantastic picking up 5 in the past 3 games. He's only got the lone interception so I think if he can force a few more turnovers he can really put himself in the driver's seat for at least the Linebacker of the Year award again. On offense, with Jay Cue slinging it, Saba Donut has found himself having another fantastic season and a chance at Receiver of the Year. He's tied with DTF for the league lead in receiving yards with a long of 67 and 5 scores, 2 behind the league leader. Nobody seems to care what cornerbacks do if they aren't making interceptions but Zamir has also been having himself another great season. He's at 3 picks on the year with a forced fumble which probably has him on the outside looking in with the other top corners in the league, but with 6 games left he definitely can get himself strongly back into the conversation for CB of the Year.
