Coming out of Virginia, Bob Roberts was a force of nature throughout his  High School and Most of his college career, coming into the league, Roberts was brought down to earth, when he fell all the way to the third round, this was a shock to roberts system, since he expected to be one of the top safties off the board, but unfortunately Roberts fell to the 7th round. The league was not as smooth sailing for Roberts, where his team, the birddogs, and himself, where both struggling, so far losing all but 2 games, despite this, Roberts began to put a target on his own back, through his loud and abrasive personality, Roberts began pissing off members of other teams and the Head Office, Roberts was given control of the birddog twitter, where he made a crude joke about a logo of the Kansas City Coyotes, leading to a controversy in which the Head Office came down on the Wild Wild West Nature of the team twitters. However these things did not hold back Roberts, he believed in his ability to both shake up the league, on and off the field as in his own words "The League is Too Soft, and you need a man like myself to whip it back in shape"
