Man, what a wild ride it has been for me in the ISFL. I’m kind of a late bloomer, spending 3 seasons in the DSFL with Minnesota. In that span, I was able to lock up most of the team career stats for receiving. Then when I made it to the ISFL, I made a “career” change when I switched positions. I did it so I could help out the team and it’s been fun so far. I know people say DT is a pretty worthless position if you’re trying to rack up stats and I see where they’re coming from. But just being able to play with my friends has been a dream come true. CC, Jango, and I were tight during our time together in Minnesota and it’s been a blast to hang out on the reunion tour. Our first season together hasn’t been as fruitful as I’d hoped it would be but I think Bayley and Muford have it right. Build the culture and the talent will come. We’re in a good spot when we look to the future. I think when our first round pick from the last draft gets called up (Juan Domine), heads are going to roll. There really isn’t a weakness on paper for our team and with several legends retiring across the league this offseason, our time is coming.
