ehh... i wouldnt say im a fan, but its not terrible. like, fire salamander sounds kinda goofy in the same way otters does. doesnt feel like a strong team name. it is what it is though. team name flow isn't that big a deal imo. i just would have tried to pick a cooler mascot.
problem with picking a team name for berlin is that there are already quite a few historic german teams whose names id want to avoid similarity with. berlin already had the thunder in the early 00s so you'd kind of have to avoid all the cool weather names. rhein fire was a thing, so id probably avoid fiery things too. frankfurt galaxy rules out things like astros, cosmos etc.
bears is alright but its a bit simple and boring imo. the alliteration is fun and all but it just feels... lazy? berlin and bear are too similar sounding almost. an idea i had was "kaisers", which is sort of cool but also feels a bit on the nose maybe. too much like london monarchs maybe. the complicated history of the city makes it difficult to pinpoint a historical reference that makes sense, and there isnt a universally acknowledged symbol of the city that would work, like liberty (bell) for philly. you say berlin and people thnk "wall"... which is a worse brand than fire salamanders if we're honest.
