The Dotts cards are a decent idea in concept, but to be frank, if it's going to solve the glut of money many users have, then there needs to be more incentive to buy more packs. I'd start by adding different shiny features to the higher rarities. Add a bit more pomp and circumstance, both to the process of obtaining them and the cards themselves. Get the graphics team on this, maybe? Next step, make the Dotts cards matter as more than just shiny cards. If you pick up a card of a great player, you can then use them in a simulation style event against other Dotts card holders, and create a team of players to play against other teams! Sound good? Well, here's where the next step comes into play: now that you've got people hooked on buying cards, and you've created a way for them to play against other people in this new way, ignore everything else for the rest of time as that will be the way you will get the most money. Don't pay any attention to the sim or its issues, don't try to fix any of the issues, make it so people can no longer create new players unless they are specifically tied to a specific shitty gamemode that takes an hour to finish up tops, ignore all criticism, and focus entirely on adding new flashy effects to the Dotts cards, the game surrounding them, and the vast amounts of money you can make off the mode.
