Skywalker thumbed his cards eagerly. He had almost the entire set of Hononlulu Hahalua’s cards, and he was trying to find his own card to show off to his friends.
“Here it is!” he said. “Look at this card. See how it’s shiny? I even got a special plastic sleeve for it!”
His friends looked at it, somewhat unimpressed.
“It just says you’re a rookie QB, Luke” said Richard, a fellow card collector. “I mean, it’s shiny and all, but that’s all it says about you.”
“Yeah Luke, why isn’t any of your DSLF stuff on here?” asked Chris. Chris wasn’t a collector, and wasn’t even into football, but went and cheered for Luke at every one of his games.
“I mean, it’s an ISFL card,” said Luke. “It doesn’t have all of the DSFL stuff.”
“But dude, you won the Ultimini!” said Richard. “You won Performance of the Year! Those things are awesome! They should be included on the card!”
“I mean, I guess I can mention to the upstairs people,” said Luke. “It would at least be nice to have my DSFL team information and my Ultimini win on the card.”
“And your Performance of the Year!” said Chris.
“Sure, but I can see if they don’t include that,” said Richard. “There’s only so much space on the card.”
“C’mon,” said Chris. “there’s NOTHING on this card but his height and position. Maybe if you’re a rookie you can at least have your DSFL stuff on the card.”
“I’ll ask,” said Luke. “In the meantime, let’s go grab lunch. I’m starving.”
“Yeah, all right, Ultimini winner,” said Richard. “Let’s go.”
