Written Option: For people with no experience with trading cards, write 200 words or more on the league economy. One of the primary aims of Dotts is to take money out of circulation to hypothetically increase the value of contracts and free agency. What other ways do you think that this problem could be solved? If you were given the reigns as league commissioner, how would you incentivize people to not take minimum contracts? This could range anywhere from altering the salary cap, raising TPE salary minimums, or another way to pull money out of the economy.
So my take on what could help increase the value of contracts and Free Agency would honestly to abolish paid media or have a cap on media earnings for the season. Anyone can basically piece together enough media to buy Equipment and some people make a killing doing it. A cap on GFX as well. Or have players pay the maker league money for GFX to have a supply and demand to it. This way you increase contract size and overall team cap. Great players get paid and have a easy path for equipment. Sub-par or average or new players will get less but can use media or job or gfx to supplement the income offset to purchase T6. Then those who max earn are then more productive faster and faster to bigger contracts to have to do less work to earn money, then non max earners obviously will have lower contracts and need to find other avenues to get to what could be a "cap" on income per year that way your making enough through salary and jobs to offord 1M weeklys +T6.
Reading this back to myself it does sound kind of confusing but I think with tweaks or someone else throwing some adjustment to it. It could work .... A max income per year "cap" which would be equivalent to all 1M weekly training and T6 Equipment.... Then up salary cap a bit but not enough for teams to pay everyone max money... This way good player can negotiate a large contract and have to do less side stuff and it gets them involved and max FA exciting. Fuck maybe I'm wrong but hopefully this kind of makes sense.
