The Baltimore Hawks practices have been underway this week, and some hot shot rookies have been making their name known to the players and staff on the field. One rookie that has been turning heads has been Brokk Lee. Brokk has done a great job defending Scrub Kyubee on the offensive line, which is a welcome addition to Kyubee, that's for sure.
Another player who has been turning heads is Darnell Turner. During the scrimmages, Turner manages to pick off a few passes from star QB Kyubee, which Baltimore is hoping will translate to the regular season.
Also, wide receiver Matthew Vincent has been connecting with Scrub Kyubee on more than a few occasions. They seem to have an eye for each other, and Vincent seems to understand what Kyubee wants to do with the ball on most plays. Not only Matthew Vincent, but John Baker has been pretty good at practice too, managing to make a few diving catches on hail marys by Scrub.
Things are looking good in the scrimmages for Baltimore, and the team plus fans alike will all be hoping that it can carry over to the season.
