Rookie CA. Chess had a great first practice with the Outlaws. When he went out to the field, he was going against the number 1 defense from last year. His QB, King Bronko, was getting ready to play after his position switch from WR to QB. They both started the practice with a beautiful 60 yards bomb, that CA. Chess took to the house. The very next play, CA. Chess caught a 10 yard slant, and turned it into a 50 yard play. For the rest of the practice it looked like the 2 of them were vets, and had been playing with each other for years. The team still found a way to play with CA. Chess, telling him to run a route when they were running the ball. After he didnt block his man, the coach tore him open, with CA. Chess not even being able to explain himself. of course the coach knew about the joke and was just playing along. Even so, the Outlaws first practice with their new rookie looked promising. And with the vets hoping to go back to back, and the rooks hoping to win their first one, this season looks bright for the Outlaws.
