Long PT: Mount Rushmore one
If we were to create a Mount Rushmore for the Colorado Yeti the players that would be on it would be just a mere mark on what the team has been for the history of this franchise granted I don't know much about the team prior to when I joined a few seasons ago but if we don't account for the you know 18 seasons prior to my joining on the site then we can create a pretty good list of four players I think shaped the direction and the future directions of this franchise for the foreseeable future.
The first of these players is going to be pidgeys player and that is Wolfie make dummy otherwise known as everyone's favorite doggo. Wolfie has been a key player in the late surge of the Yeti towards the top of the league having them knew from perennial jokes in believed to a team most weeks is expected to at least compete and keep the game within three to four points if they lose or win and sometimes even when in dominating fashion. Wolfie has been one of the better quarterbacks in the league over the last few seasons as well even though he is an old man and close to the end of his career this is not stopped him from putting up numbers that most quarterbacks would love to put up and match as well as being a great quarterback at controlling the game and making sure that the yeti don't turn the ball over nearly as much as most teams in the league have done of late.
The second player on the yeti Mount Rushmore is going to have to be the incredibly lazy Thor Kirkby who let's be honest hasn't really done anything in his career of note outside of being on teams and helping them win championships he never really shows up outside of coming to games and doing the absolute bare minimum to keep himself active and around to win Awards that said he still is one of the best player on the team and it will be sad now that he is being shipped off to New York City to play for that new strange team that no one really ever cares about. He is deserving be on here purely because of his statistical marks over the last few seasons even as an inactive and this is a disappointing addition to the mountain if we are being honest with ourselves
the thrid player that I'm going to add to the Mount Rushmore of the Colorado Yeti is going to have to be actually Owens the running back that has done more for my fantasy teams over the last season been almost any other player in the league. Is this pic purely be he is on my fantasy team every single season absolutely but in all reality there really isn't anyone else who goes on the spot. As we will see shortly before player on the mountain is really the only one who has dominated the team enough to deserve a spot but we need to fill out the rest of the mountain with three other players so Owens gets the nod as the third on this list. He has been incredibly helpful. In terms of putting up yards and helping the team take down the clock lightning game where we need to do whatever we can to hold onto victories and has been instrumental in helping us win a championship and getting to another one
The last and most elite player to make the yeti Mount Rushmore is going to be none other than silver banana also known as Kiki boy around the team this is a clear and obvious pick to make rushmore as he's the only one on this team who really has amounted to anything over his entire career winning a kicker of the Year award two seasons ago as well as helping the team be one of the best in the Special Teams depart for the entire duration of his stint in a Yeti uniform. Happy Gary fans love and adore him and he also kicked the game-winning point after attempt in the only ever Championship win for the yeti making him a renowned name in Colorado and a name that fans will remember for the rest of their lives. Had this player not played for the yeti for the entirety of his career it is highly likely that they never win another game again and whatever team he was traded to or signed on as a free agent would be in the same spot at the Yeti are in now.
This is what I would consider the be the mount rushmore for the Yeti, a fine list of names highlighted by the best kicker in ISFL history with a few other dudes sprinkled in.
