The Baltimore Hawks are most excited to face off against the Las Vegas Legion in the first week of the preseason. It's not that there is a rivalry between these two teams yet, it's about finally getting back on the field after a long offseason and finally getting a chance to see how the Hawks overhauled roster performs. There are a whopping fourteen new starters that will be taking the field for the Hawks. For the roster it has been a long, hot, and hard summer of training. Players on the team have been getting sick and tired of practicing against themselves all summer and will now finally have different people to hit and tackle. Preseason also offers a chance to try out several different lineups and a plethora of strategies and play calling styles. It is a good experimentation time with no consequence. Data on everything will be gathered and be used to help formulate game plans for the beginning of the regular season. Due to this strategy and lineup experimentation, pre season performance should be taken with a grain of salt, because we saw last year how the team won all four games in the preseason, but only four total in the regular season as well.
