Why Minnesota will win the Ultimini. The Grey Ducks last season had a decent team in many ways, a capped QB, one of the most lethal run games in the league, and a solid, young defense. Obviously that did not happen as the Ducks failed to end the year with a winning record. That is going to change this season, and the doubters will be in for a rude awakening. Defensively the Ducks will have six starters capped. Both starting safeties, starting corners and two linebackers. Many of those players were towards the top of the league at their positions without being capped. Offensively the ducks may struggle at first, but with both running backs returning, the ground game that was so feared last season will be going for the throat of defenses this season. With a killer draft class coming in, they have an influx of young talent that are looking to make an impact, and with such a great supporting cast it’s hard to see the Ducks not making an impact, especially on defense. Remember, offense sells tickets, but defense wins championships.
