While Bork Björnsson does not typically single out other players as his “rival,” he does find himself significantly excited to play against the Orange County Otters in week 2 of the preseason. The Orange County Otters are widely regarded throughout the league as having the best offensive line in the league, led by the inarguably best offensive lineman in the league: Angus Winchester. Even though Bork Björnsson, a defensive tackle, will not likely line up directly across from Angus, Bork looks forward to proving himself against such a dominant offensive line.
The Orange County Otters offensive line also includes Gregor Clegane, one of the best S2 rookie linemen in the draft, and who was the center of media controversy after he declared that he would not play for any other team except the Otters if they drafted him. Luckily for both Gregor and the Otters, this gamble played off and the Otters bolstered their already dominant offensive line with even more talent. Talent which Bork Björnsson looks forward to testing himself against during the preseason.
Additionally, Bork finds himself interested in monitoring the play of fellow rookie Blaster Blade of the Colorado Yeti. Blade, a fellow defensive lineman (but an end, rather than a tackle) was drafted 2nd overall and was the only defensive player taken before Bork in the draft (other than Wraith’s home boy Dermot Lavelle). Bork feels the need to show the Yeti their mistake in drafting Blade over him.
