Though some may say I come at this topic with a little bit of bias, I know for a fact that the Tijuana Luchadores are the greatest team to ever grace the DSFL. With four years of experience in Tijuana, I can confidently say that, without Tijuana, I don't think I'd still be an active member here today, and I believe that would apply to many other players as well. Not only is Tijuana the most successful team in the DSFL, but it also boasts one of, if not the best, locker rooms in the entire league. Even when Luchadores are eventually called up to the ISFL, no one ever really leaves Tijuana, with constant visits and check-ups in Tijuana. Despite now being an Austin Copperhead, I am going to be watching every Tijuana game and rooting for them all the way to the Ultimini. Despite the number of call-ups every season, Tijuana manages to be a big contender every single season, regardless of what people are predicting. After last season, Tijuana suffered some big losses, notably, the presence of the long-time Kiwi duo of Doug Howlett and Friedrich Vequain, yet Tijuana has covered their losses very well in the DSFL draft by drafting three solid receivers, among other important positions like linebacker. Once again, Tijuana is also in line to secure yet another Ultimini, which should be no surprise for anyone. There may be arguments for some other teams, but in my mind, I have no doubt that the Tijuana Luchadores are the greatest team in the DSFL.
