Comparing this to Graph 10 Average Contract Value of CBs, we see why there is a jump in the average contract for S25 CBs between 600 - 799 tpe, there's three CBs earning $6-$7M, even though there are only three of them, they are able to move the average pretty well since there are only 4 other CBs in the same group.
Comparatively the S22 CBs of 800-999 tpe doesn't appear to have a similar deviation in the average from their peers (CBs at other tpe levels in the same year) even though there is a CB making $8M. However, Mr. $8M CB did bring up his group's average from $3.8M (the average of the 8 other CBs in the group) to $4.1M.
Can do two graphs for each position. Graph 1 would be S20 & S21, Graph 2 be S22 & S25. plotting all the dots for all four seasons on one graph would probably be over crowded.
If you get the time to do one like this in the future that would definitely be interesting to see. Not sure the easiest way to visualise it but its interesting for sure. (For me personally seeing it like this helps counteract the effect of the limited data set as well)
