So let’s have a quick look at the preseason schedule for the newly minted Las Vegas Legion: the Philadelphia Liberty, the Baltimore Hawks, the Colorado Yeti and the Arizona Outlaws.
Of those four, there are a couple of intriguing matchups. First, lets throw out the Baltimore Hawks – they are absolute trash. They have nobody of note and really, nobody to rival Stormblessed. The Colorado Yeti can also be thrown out. The only thing they accomplished last season is finishing as the first loser. Congrats on being second.
That leaves two: the Philadelphia Liberty and the Arizona Outlaws. The Liberty – sponsored and inspired by Taco Bell – have Stormblessed’s old Outlaw running mate, Lincoln Jefferson. For as well as they worked together on the field, there was a sentiment amongst the analysts that Stormblessed was carrying the duo and Lincoln benefitted greatly from loose coverage.
Still, the premier matchup has to be Stormblessed against his old squad. Unconfirmed reports have been spreading all off-season that the break-up was less than amicable. Stormblessed has undoubtedly circled each match up with the defending champs on his calendar. He will primarily be lining up against a combination of Ryan Flock and Jason Williams. No doubt they’ll roll their coverage to his side of the field. It promises to be a good matchup.
