Since it was in the prompt, and I’m not feeling very creative at the moment, let's talk agents in the league and why they don’t work. With the strict tampering rules the league maintains, there’s simply no room for an agent to have any “agency”. As currently constructed, for an agent to have discussions for a team in regards to one of their clients, the team, agent, and player all must be party to the conversation. This alone fundamentally breaks agents. if they can’t have discussions about their clients for fear of tampering prospects, they’ll never be able to actually do anything that the player couldn’t on their own. Also, one of the major talking points of agents is their ability to garner larger contracts for their clients. However, this league doesn’t value big contracts… in fact it goes out of it’s way to avoid them. With money being so easy to make there’s literally no reason for someone to take a big deal. Even if someone were to sign a large deal… let's say in the 8-10 million range. They could literally make far more than that by setting aside an hour of time over the course of the season, banging out a large media piece, and then releasing it during a 1.5x or 2x event. For all these reasons, I think Agents will never work in the league.
