I have thought about this. and tbf there is a way. it could be done by simulating a CFB season after every ultimus and having new creates use those as canon... but the logistics (simulating it, deciding which teams are stronger/weaker, getting people to actually reference it etc) would be horrible for little to no discernible benefit.
and it's arguably more fun this way
