I personally think this is a benchmark vote. If you look at Bode's career surrounded by his peers who played mixed length schedules, and those who came before him and what they accomplished, and you think to yourself, this player is not a Hall of Famer, then you have achieved a benchmark. As someone who should not have a Hall of Fame vote.
