(S25) - PT 5 - Playoffs? You Kidding Me?

The Sailfish are looking as good as they have all season at the moment. Our start was abysmal as we fell to the bottom of the conference, but we’ve worked out way back up and now sit with a record of 8-5 in second place in the conference. We were quite unlucky to start off the season, losing multiple games we arguably should have won, but the team was able to continue to earn, maintain hope, and here we are after winning 7(?) straight games. However, our season does look eerily similar to S24, one in which we, despite our great record and team, failed to take down the simply better team in the Yeti. The Yeti currently have a record of 10-3, so it would be a miracle for us to somehow overtake them for the top spot in the conference. Well just have to channel our inner San Jose and hope for some sim luck once this postseason comes around. Those games should be quite close though, since we have split the games with the Yeti this season, beating them at home but suffering a painful loss on the road. All that said it should be an interesting couple of weeks in the league, as even though we are currently second in the conference, Baltimore and Yellowknife are right on our heels.
