The Chicago Butchers are currently sitting with a 7-6 record and are looking to make a push for the playoffs but they are in a bit of a battle. The Chicago Butchers are currently tied with the Baltimore Hawks and have the 6-7 Yellowknife Wraiths and Philadelphia Liberty close behind. It could come down to the last few weeks whether the Chicago Butchers make the playoffs or not. At first glance, you can see why they are going to make the playoffs as they have a perfect 6-0 record at home. Their road record on the other hand leaves a lot to worry about at 1-6. Another reason for their decent season so far and why they make the playoffs will be wide reciever O'Leary. O'Leary currently has 1042 receiving yards for 6 touchdowns which is pretty good. Offensive lineman Riposte has also been extremely good with 72 pancakes which has him third in the entire International Simulation Football League. Back to their schedule, one of the reasons I believe they will make the playoffs is that they have 2 home games remaining and one away game. If the Chicago Butchers continue their perfect home record they will be at minimum at a 8-6 record and all three games remaining are winnable with their away game being again the 3-10 New York Silverbacks.
