The S24 champions San Jose SaberCats currently hold second place in the conference and are currently poised to make another playoff run and upset some teams like last season. Coming off a much-needed away when, and with the remaining games left in the season the SaberCats would have to blow two major games and get upset in both. Hosting the copperheads in San Jose gives the SaberCats an edge in what will be an evenly matched game between the two teams. Then with an away game to New York, the SaberCats will be at a disadvantage with the cold weather, time change, and long-distance traveling. Will it be enough though to upset the SaberCats, I don’t think so. New York along with any expansion team has had its first year struggles where it is laying the foundation to surely be a great team in the future, but right now they will lose to San Jose in their Week 16 matchup to secure the Cats their S25 playoff berth. What the cats have done is anything but wild currently at 8-6 scoring 330 points and allowing 331. This shows the Cats not only have close games with teams that are bad but with teams that are good, making them a clutch choice always ready for a close win.
