Portland is having another fringe playoff year. We had a hot start, going 4-1 in our first five games, and now find ourselves at 5-5 and third in our conference in the DSFL. Just like last season, we hold the tiebreaker over Kansas City, but Minnesota holds the tie-breaker over us (pending tonight's game, we could win it back with a win). Honestly, our schedule to close out the year is not too hard. We play at London which sucks, but other than that our hardest game is at Minnesota, which should be about a coin flip. We've had some tough luck this season, losing at home to Minnesota in a game we tested over 70% in, and losing away to Norfolk, who suck. On the converse, we hack gotten lucky at points this season, winning a couple sub 50% games VS Myrtle Beach and Kansas City.
Honestly, we are probably a 6-4 team but 5-5 is not too unfair considering the evolution of the team throughout the season. If we make the playoffs, we will match up at London, where we tested below 20% last season, and got blown out in the first round of the playoffs.
We are probably a smidge above 50/50 to make the playoffs, so that's not too bad considering the amount of turnover we have had to deal with.
