The season so far has been a decent one, 14 games played and we have won six of those. Compared to last year this season could be an improvement if we win the last two games, last year Yellowknife won eight games. I believe Yellowknife Wraiths still technically has a chance to make it into the playoffs, so that is something that we can rally around, but we also need help from other teams, so in that sense, things could be better. What I know for a fact is that we need to win the last two games to keep the playoff dream alive.
The weak point or something that we as a team need to focus on is consistency, the last four games have been up and down, win one and then lose the next. For a team looking to get into playoffs that is not good. Early on in the season extreme example is how we were able to win three games in a row and then we lost three in a row, during the three-game winning streak we won teams like Sarasota and Philadelphia, so that shows there is enough quality in the roster to make it into the playoffs, but for whatever reason, the high of the little winning streak turned into the misery of losing three in a row right after. I believe it's a mental problem, there are quite a few younger players in the team, but overall as mentioned the ongoing year could be an improvement from the previous year, that is something. If we do the same next year, playoffs are reality.
