Last season we were 10 - 4, explosive offense and a solid defense with play makers everywhere. We lost in a lowe scoring playoff game which we were the favorite to win.
Unfortunately for Tijuana Luchadores we are in the DSFL and a lot of our players were called up to the ISFL teams that drafted them or we were drafted in the last draft.
We lost a lot of our stud offensive players, Doug Howlett (DSFL WR of the year) and we can't make up the production we lost.
Our secondary is loaded but we haven't been able to get the tackles for loss and generate the same pressure we had last season which allowed us to generate a lot of pick sixes.
We currenlty do only give up 13 points per game which is best in the SFC and 3rd best in the DSFL, but we are only scoring 15 points per game. We have rookies starting at WR and our backup rb is a rookie as well.
Having a great season last year helped get a lot of guys promoted to the ISFL but we couldn't replace what we lost.
We are in second place in the SFC ( 5-7 )and luckily for us we play well on the road. If we can sneak into the playoffs and our defense can generate the point it scored last season we have a chance. We also need our running game to take control and let our defense take over.
We just need to get hot at the right time and see what happens.
