(S25) - PT 5 - Playoffs? You Kidding Me?

This year so far the Yellowknife Wraiths are 6 – 9 for the season. Despite only having 6 wins the majority of the games came down to one possession type of games where a field goal would win it. These nail biting games are always fun to watch but always sucks to be on the losing end of it especially when the outcome was so close in your favor. There were only two games that come to mind that the Wraiths were completely blown out in the sense of it being more of a two possession game rather than one. Coming up on Friday is the last game the Wraiths will play for the season and the hope is to come away with a win even if we do not make it to the playoffs. This team being one of the younger teams now did a hell of a job especially after having cooter retire two years ago. Jack is doing work and will continue to do better year after year there is nothing to stop him. The defense will have to be better next year, as we gave up many points and made it difficult on the offense having to constantly catch up to the points the defense allowed to score. Next year we have the draft to look forward to and the hope is to bolster the defense to get it to the caliber it once was when the Yellowknife Wraiths took the Ultimus home back a couple years ago.
