As the season wraps up thinks look to be going increasingly well for the London Royals, and Terry Yaki especially as they look to go for a second consecutive ultimini victory. They appear at a glance to be the favorites in the conference but are poised to have an uphill battle if the face the projected winner of the opposing conference, Myrtle Beach. In their two regular season match ups the Royals have come out as the losers, with those two losses account for 66% of their losses as of this moment. Throughout the season the Royals have constantly shown the eliteness of their defense. This is one of the best all around defenses in the league and much like last season seems to be carrying them to the ultimini once more. One of the main weaknesses the Royals have shown thus far is the inconsistency of the running game. There was a long stretch of games where the Royals seemingly could get no running game off the ground and this resulted in two of their three current losses. Thankfully the receivers and tight ends for the royals have stepped up along with the defense to keep them in games. However as the season progresses much like last season the royals offense is beginning to click as well as their defense, this being a factor that carried the red hot Royals all the way to their victory in the ultimini.
As an aside, Terry Yaki, who currently sits on the bench of the Outlaws, hopes to see a victory with them as well. Even if it is from the sidelines. They face a tough road with many great teams also competing in their conference, especially the Otters who have near dominated the rest of the conference for most of the season. Will their winning streak continue into the playoffs? Will Cue bring them back to the promised land? Only time will tell, but this young RB has hope.
