I want to look at both of my teams for the playoff push. For the DSFL, the Myrtle Beach is looking like a real threat to win it all. At 10-3 we are tied for the best record in the league and have the tie breaker over London for home field advantage. We made some key additions through the waiver wire allowing us to sure up one of our main weaknesses in the defensive line. I see us winning this week at home against Tijuana and wrapping up home field regardless of the London result. I think our team will make the ultimini and be a favorite in the game. However, if it is London I do fear we may struggle to escape with the win. That is a very good team and beating them three times in one season will prove to be difficult.
In the ISFL my team is the Sabercats. Right now I think a lot has to go our way to bring home another ultimus. While the team did finish with a winning record, the negative point differential is a concern moving forward. I think the Cats will have to get lucky to win games. I think the key lies with Monty Jack. If he can keep his >60% completion rate, the team should be able to compete against anyone and may cause some surprises just like last season.
