In the first pre-season game, the Philadelphia Liberty faced off with the Las Vegas Legion. One of the best players on their team was also a man I would face off with. None Stormblessed was a fantastic Wide Receiver already last season and playing against him would be an honor. He had 52 catches for 971 yards and 7 touchdowns last season, which was an incredible performance all in all. It also showed his deep threat, with almost twenty yards per reception. Even if it was only pre-season, testing myself against the best of the best would be a great challenge but also very rewarding. In the end, I was not able to make a tackle or change the game in any way, but I like to think my coverage of him was solid in that game, as he only had three catches for 34 yards. He did have a touchdown, but I guess no one is perfect in their first game. Especially considering his deep threat capabilities, I would say this was a great success by our team to neutralize him like this. Still, our team won and Stormblessed was not a huge star in the game, all in all I can be happy with the results.
