For Kicker of the Year for Season 25, I'd have to nominate Venus Powers. This season, Venus connect on 49 our of 49 extra point attempts while also converting 35 of 36 field goal attempts. Only 3 kickers managed to hit 100% of their extra point attempts, Powers, Fencik and Louis. Both Powers and Fencik played 16 games while Louis only made 7 appearances this season. Comparing attempts between Powers and Fencik, Powers comes up on top having attempted and converted 12 more extra points this season. In terms of extra points, Venus Powers leads the pack.
Looking at field goal percentages, 3 players hit 100% of their field goals this season, McDairmid, Hunt and Louis with Powers the next best with 97.2%. As mentioned previously, Louis made 7 appearances this season so while Louis did have a perfect season they played less than half the games of the other kickers. McDairmid was 23/23 on field goals while Hunt converting 27/27 field goal attempts this season. Powers missed 1 field goal this season going 35/36 but when you factor factor in the volume of extra point and field goals attempts Powers had compared to her peers this season that Powers does deserve to be nominated for Kicker of the Year. It certainly wouldn't be a stretch to suggest that Powers would be the favourite to take home the award either.
