To say this has been an offseason of change for the Orange County Otters would be quite possibly the biggest understatement of league history. The team added not one, not even two, but THREE elite level free agents this offseason, and while already having one of the league's best rosters on paper last season, come into this one somehow looking way better. Their first signing was adding Tight End Heath Evans, formerly of the Arizona Outlaws, who is seen as one of, if not the best in the league at his position. He offers a fantastic receiving option for second season quarterback Suleiman Ramza. They then added Defensive Tackle Rotticus Scott, who joins an already fantastic Otters Defensive Line, and he will provide yet another scary presence to put pressure on opposition quarterbacks. Finally, amid bizarre circumstances they landed Cornerback Brandon Booker, who opted out of his Philadelphia Liberty contract following a miscommunication from management. He will bring a stable presence and with many good years ahead of him will be a fantastic addition to an already solid Orange County defensive unit. They also strengthened an offensive line which was lacking at times last season by converting Wide Receiver Future Trunks and Cornerback Lord Beerus to Offensive Lineman. They should give Ramza much needed protection and vastly improve the offensive output of the team as a result.
