The Norfolk Seawolves had some big changes this season and are hoping to bounce back from their awful placement last season with some new draft picks. 3 new changes to the defense will give the Seawolves a better edge this season: SparkySparky Boom-man, Bean Beanman, and Benjamin Ankers. Boom-Man is already a top prospect and should make a big difference in the backfield to help the Seawolves overcome their league worst defense last season. Adding a new defensive lineman with Beanman will help out Chad Simpson and Candic Fitinyomouf to hopefully bring more edge rushing and pressure on the offense. On the other side of the ball, the Seawolves were able to add another running back which should give Mr. Forty-Two some relief. In a similar theme, the Seawolves had the league worst offense despite Forty-Two’s attempts. He was the top rusher in the league last season and had 8 touchdowns for a 3.9 rushing average. We should see his numbers get better with more efficiency and having Ace Savage to back him up will give the seasoned running back a chance to take a break instead of having to be relied upon so heavily on offense. I think this new changes will bring some better game play on both sides of the ball for Norfolk.
