(S26) - PT 1 - Keep the Change You Filthy Animal

Oh the offseason, one of the roughest parts of being in the league, also exceptionally turbulent. It is a time of change, a time of rebirth and growth. Players updating regression, adding tons of tpe theough all of the various offseason methods, coming into the next season with a huge boost or a giant loss depending on age of the player.

For myself I definitely picked up a good amount of tpe taking full advantage of my opportunities. Some solid boost to my stats included, I am now much more confident in my role as a backup running back in Yellowknife. I have already begun passing up veteran running backs for total tpe making me at least solidly better than a ton of the inactive players and even some of the less active players. Some players regression has even got me topping super active vets, but thats nothing to be proud of for me, just a fact of life for the leagues architecture.

I am moving solidly into my second year in the isfl my third year overall, and I gotta say the change there is subtle but present. I feel completely confident on the league and my future as a star, although I haven't been getting the numbers I had hoped, I haven't even come close to reaching my prime. I'm having a blast and I think km helping my team now, its great to think the best is yet to come for me and that I am perfectly comfortable as I reach the middle of my rookie contract.

I suppose the biggest changes that have come don't really focus around me at all. The yelloeknife Wraiths, as a team have transformed into a true contender. I was skeptical of our future last season, we seemed to be an upper middle team, but change was coming. This year it looks like our leadership did an excellent job strengthening the defense and shoring up our weaknesses. Offenwe looks set to score at will and defense looks set to to protect the endzone at all costs.. If we aren't a contender this year I would be willing to bet real life money that we will be in the picture next year if not the favorites to win it all.

Altogether it seems like all the change has been an overwhelmingly net positive. Despite my rough season last year both in the league and in real life, I sit poised to be more active in the league now that I'm reaching a more stable moment in life as well as finding peace with everything that has happened.
