A new year brings a new season, which in this case brings new expectations. With this new season brings my second year as a member of the New Orleans Second Line. This year things are looking up for not only the team but for myself as well. For the team, we have increased our TPE totals collectively, especially on the defensive side of the ball. My defensive teammates, Toblerone, Blaylock, Light, Rector, and Hexagon have all gotten better by greatly increasing their individual TPEs in order to maintain and hopefully improve upon their own individual seasons from last season. With me, I have finally amassed over 450 TPE and improved my tackling to an elite level to fully round me out and make me into the defensive force I have envisioned myself to be. As a result of these collective improvements, the team has jumped out to a 3-1 record with a defense that has been smothering and forcing turnovers at a high rate, giving us an already high turnover differential. We hope that these improvements to our collective and individual TPEs will spur a well-deserved and long awaited playoff berth in order for us to claim another Ultimus by season's end.
