It is time to overreact to Douglas Quaid’s slow start, this is also a continuation of a mediocre season from the last. As the highest TPE linebacker in the ISFL with a maxed out speed rusher build he should be playing like a Mo Berry level GOD right now. I’m talking about one sack per game at minimum. He should be a seasonal candidate from LB of the year and even Defensive player of the year. Many have speculated that Quaid got fat, lazy and unmotivated after his defensive breakout player of the year award in season 23. He’s been showing up to practice so that can’t be the reason. Perhaps his knees are shot. Offensive tackles have said that Quaid doesn’t get around the corner as quickly as he used to. By the time Quaid gets into the backfield the QB has already thrown the ball or handed it off to his running back. I think it is safe to say the sim Gods do not smile upon Quaid. Each position has a handful of players that are usually blessed with one fantastic performance after another. Take current LB superstar Wilf from the Outlaws, he’s been absolutely dominant with the same exact style of play as Quaid. Quaid is prepared to take drastic measures to break his curse.
