Jack Banks, star linebacker for the New York Silverbacks, deserves the richest contract in the ISFL and I'll tell you why.
Banks declared himself draft eligible late in the offseason before being drafted in the later rounds by the Norfolk Seawolves. The stud linebacker went on to play two dominant years in the DSFL and was inducted into the team Hall of Fame.
Jack Banks slipped in the ISFL draft too, but immediately made an impact for the expansion Honolulu Hahalua. Once again, however, Banks was overlooked and was left unprotected in the league's next expansion draft. The New York Silverbacks immediately jumped on the opportunity to pick up a playmaker by selecting Banks first overall.
Bank has rewarded the faith that New York has placed in him. Last season he finished second in the league in sacks and was named Defensive Breakout Player of the Year.
Until Banks arrived in New York he was underrated and underappreciated. Echoing the Greatest of All Time Michael Jordan, Banks has been heard reflecting on his perceived slights by saying "And I took that personally".
