After 7 games it is confirmed, Rich Triplet is a BUST. The corner was taken with the final pick in the S25 draft, and unlike most of his classmates in that round was allowed one season down in the DSFL. After claiming an ultimini and a campaign that could have arguably been nominated for CBOTY. Rich went to the media and claimed he had high aspirations to achieve rookie of the year in the ISFL with the San Jose Sabercats. However, coming to the midpoint of the season Rich Triplet has only managed to gather 33 tackles with one for a loss, one interception and four pass deflections. Not exactly rookie of the year numbers especially against some of the competition such as Utterstruzen and Blackfyre. When asked about this Rich declined to comment and simply left the locker room visibly upset. According to sources inside San Jose Rich has been using this disappointing season as motivation to improve more, they claim he has put in the extra effort you usually see from vets in the league such as meeting with HOF corner Dermot Lavelle and his son for private workouts. Rich on the stat sheet isn’t showing up but he is putting in the work to be there someday. There is still half a season for Rich to turn things around but as far as mid-season goes Rich is not looking like the first round pick he was taken as.
