There is a knock on the door. When I open it I see a delivery man with a form to sign.
“Do to the contents of this package, I’ll need you to sign off on it, sir.” He says formally. I do so, now curious about what could be inside this small mysterious package, and moreover, who it’s from.
I take the box inside and place it on the kitchen counter. No return address. Strange. I pull the packing tape off the top and open it up to find another box inside--a sleek black box with gold lettering--ROLEX.
“No way. . . “ I mutter to myself smiling, having an inkling now as to who sent this mysterious package. I lift the top of the elegant black box and see a brilliant golden watch with small diamond accents. It certainly is frosty as hell. There is a note and I pick it up to read it.
“To the other half of the Gruesome Twosome, Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. See you next year, bruuther!

I slip the extravagant gift over my wrist and admire it for a moment while I think about how talented Damian Blackfyre is to not only be an incredible athlete and football player, but a well accomplished artist whose work is always in demand, and has netted him millions of dollars.
