I was surprised when the doorbell rang and a UPS employee placed an incredibly large package on my porch. It was light blue and white and the only information was a tag that said "From Your Secret Admirer". I racked my brain for who it might be and what this strange package could be. It was marked with a few "FRAGILE" stickers and was heavy - maybe 30 pounds. I hauled it into my kitchen and placed it on the counter, still unsure of the contents, before grabbing a large pair of scissors. It didn't take too long to cut into the heavy cardboard and I was absolutely floored when I gazed upon the contents. It was a gift bad celebrating the recent Minor League World Series title that was won by the Kansas City Hepcats this season in PBE. As a lifelong Hepcats fan, I was overjoyed. There was a custom mug with the Hepcats logo and my name, a scarf with HEPCATS printed across the middle, and last but not least, a faux World Series Ring with my name on it. I still don't know who sent me this package, but it was perhaps the best surprise I've ever received. While football is my life and career, I was a huge baseball fan growing up and to get a custom care package celebrating the achievements of my favorite team was incredible. If I ever find out who sent it my way, I'll give them the biggest thanks I can muster.
