As Lesean Paris Crooks enjoys his short break in the great Texas winter weather after a big win against New Orleans to further improve the Copperheads' playoff chances, he comes home to find a small but bulky package on his door. Crooks is curious as to who could've sent him a Christmas gift as although he has made many acquaintances in his brief stint, he also has been rarely seen outside of team facilities. He has been very recluse since Thanksgiving so it is very interesting --- and riveting --- that he has received a package.
After settling down in his Round Rock estate, Crooks opens up is package to discover it is a box, a box full of photographs. A very old school and traditional gift. The pictures provide a timeline of events that have occurred since Crooks last visited his current and former teammates. The first picture is of the London Royals' trophy cabinet, once home to just one Conference Championship trophy by the time Crooks left, the Royals made the Ultimini 3 times since Crooks departed in the team's 3rd season. The second picture includes the team's championship celebration over Norfolk with the likes of Mattress Caidaire, Harrison Andrews, Charlemagne Cortez, Gunner Thornbjornsson, Frank Michell, L'Glazzy Burfict, Albert Ruschman, and Tayshawn Crunk. Crooks notices that Syl and High arent in the photo and realizes that Magluibyet and Harrison Andrews have taken over GM duties.
The next pic must've slipped in by accident and is a little mature to discuss. The other pic he finds is of Baltimore from when the Copperheads came to play them earlier in the season. He notices some new faces such as Haynandi and ex-teammate Dermot Lavelle Jr. as well as some of his ex-Hawks teammates that are no longer around such as Captain Rogers and Derred DeVille. The last pic he finds if of Austin Copperheads noblemen Tyler Montain and Colt Mendoza, checking out Jackie Daytona at a Bondi Beach game, with Honolulu players and it looks like they are giving mean eyes to Heath Evans and Memento Mori(who are wearing Otters' gear). Evans seems to be chatting up Sergio Kitchens who I notice isnt on our team anymore.
Man, this was a great gift, I sure did miss a lot(well for the sake of the point task he did) and now I feel like it's going to be even tougher to jump back in the discord with all the fluidity of this league in such a short time span.
