‘Twas the night before Christmas and all over the house, not a league member was stirring, not even a (murder) moose. Patrik Money was at home on his farm taking a well deserved break from the league for a couple of days at Christmas. He had just settled down with a nice pint of whiskey (don’t judge him, 2020 was a long year) when he heard a knock on the door. Who could this be at this hour, all the way out at the farm in the middle of the wilderness near Yellowknife? Money begrudgingly got up to check and when he opened the door, he found nobody there but a small parcel on his doorstep. Confused as he hadn’t been expecting anything, Money quickly tore into the box. It was wrapped in several layers of Christmas wrapping paper, each showing an ISFL team. As Money got through the final layer, a Colorado Yeti themed paper, a loud ping resonated around his room. After he got over the initial shock of this loud noise from seemingly nowhere, he peered inside the parcel to find nothing but a short note. On the note it simply said “from the NSFC”. Money was slightly confused by this. Was it a prank? was there meant to be something in the box? What was the noise? He was too tired to worry about this too much though and took the box and note back to his chair. However as he was about to sit, he noticed the league table that he had on his digital display above the fireplace. Yellowknife had another win than they had 5 minutes before. Thanks NSFC.
