I think it time to look back at the rookies from Season 25 ISFL draft. I will break them up into positions and will skip anyone who went inactive right away.
Depending on position, like quarterback they are likely still in the DSFL, while random others already got the call up.
First position up is the quarter backs :
Matt Peterson 25
Jackie Daytona 26
Bill Brasky 82
Owen Holloway (position switched to WR) 84
Trent Blackburn 139
Uncle Rico 141
Jackie Daytona : Still in the DSFL, starting for the Bondi Beach Buccaneers. As of the last update he is sitting at 563 TPE and currently leads the DSFL in passing yards through nine games. He was drafted in the fourth round with pick 26 of the DSFL draft and in second round with the 25th overall pick in the ISFL. So far seems like the best of the bunch from this season. By a lot.
Owen Holloway : Moved up to the ISFL, but also only played part of his time in the DSFL at the position of quarter back, now he is a wide receiver for the Orange County Otters. I will discuss him in the wide receiver section.
Matt Peterson : The only other quarter back from this class to still exist as a quarter back. He is in the DSFL playing for the Kansas City Coyotes, He is clearly not active any more with a whopping 304 TPE. While he may actually be active, he isn't really earning much. Not sure if he will ever make it to the big leagues.
Pretty easy to say Jackie Daytona is the clear number draft at quarter back from this small draft class. Good thing there are a few up and coming QBs in the next drafts or we could end up with a shortage.
On to the Running Backs :
Jameson Vermillion - 10 583 TPE
Bronko Mills - 20 279 TPE
Buster Bawlls - 73 423 TPE
Terry Yaki - 85 340 TPE
King Tutankhamun - 95 212 TPE
Frankie Lantz - 117
Anders Christiansen - 368 TPE
Darren Pama - 582 TPE
Mike Rotchburns - 481 TPE
Mike Rotchburns - New Orleans Second Line 481 TPE
Based off his stats in his rookie season of the ISFL, I have to put him down first at the moment. But he is 100 TPE lower than the other two top earning running backs from this draft. One of them is second string running back on a team with tons of weapons on offense, so not surprising he isn't producing more stats wise. A solid draft choice for the second line, he isn't a top earner, but earning enough and producing in his rookie campaign. If he continues to earn decently, he could become a solid player for years.
Darren Pama - Arizona Outlaws 582 TPE
Another rookie with really good stats. Honestly, I would say this is the better draft choice now and long term. He is one point behind the top earning running back of this class and has a really good opportunity with his team to get a starting position with his team. He is splitting time in the back field with another really good player in Gunner. Over all one of the best draft picks for this position in season twenty five.
Jameson Vermillion - Yellowknife Wraiths 583 TPE
The highest earning running back from this class, also on the best team of this class, also behind a really high TPE starting running back. The best draft choice of this positional group for season twenty five draft. He is producing really well when you consider the sheer number of weapons on offense this team possesses. They have a quarter back who gets some rushes in, a top tier running back, two good wide receivers and a really good tight end and somehow he still produces some big plays. Great draft pick.
Buster Bawlls - New York Silverbacks 423 TPE
Was a DSFL star. In the ISFL, not as effective, but also the fourth rushing option on the team. So not likely to get that many carries or yards when you have two running backs and a quarter back ahead of you for carries. Not a bad draft pick, but also not a great earner. Seems to be back on the wagon for consistent earning, so if he continues to earn he could well turn out to still be a good draft pick and overall good player. Time will tell for this draft pick.
Anders Christiansen - Portland Pythons 368 TPE
Current DSFL star. Third leading rusher in the DSFL this season through the nine games. Not a top earner, but does appear to be active as of lately. So who knows if he will continue to earn and get called up to the ISFL soon. He has updated recently and gained TPE, so both are good signs. Pretty far behind the rest of the class so far, but not out of the could be useful position to a team. More time needed, but so far the low end of active and earning.
Terry Yaki - London Royals 340 TPE
Hasn't updated in a couple weeks. Was earning as recently as early December, so could just be busy for the holidays or could have turned inactive. Hard to say as I don't know the person behind the curtain. Not a bad DSFL player, unlikely to be a solid ISFL player at this point, between the low TPE and the lack of an update for over two weeks. Not counting them out yet, but getting close to falling off the cliff.
The rest are inactive. So the winner here is going to be Jameson Vermillion with the slight lead in TPE and staying active. With Darren Pama a super close second.
On to Wide receiver :
First thing to say, wow a lot of WRs
Killian Chambers 574 TPE
Alex Reed 291 TPE
Mark Callous 297 TPE
Crayne Whebet
Harley Fank 546 TPE
Noah Akerele
Zach Crossley 540 TPE
Adam C. Spencer 515 TPE
T.J Evans
Mark Walker 548 TPE
Owen Holloway 572 TPE (drafted as a QB)
Lebby Newton 160 TPE
Alexander Johnson
Willy Weasel
Brandon Kirwin
Scott Mastro
Dakota Grossman
While the class was huge to start with, it dwindled quite quickly, going from almost twenty, to under ten.
Killian Chambers - Philly Liberty 574 TPE
He was the first to be drafted in the DSFL and the first to be picked in the ISFL draft out of receivers and he remains the top earner as well. Clearly a known commodity from the beginning. He has yet to disappoint and will continue to be a top earner in the this wide receiver class. Had some success in the DSFL and currently doing quite well for himself in the ISFL with top twenty receiving yards after twelve games. Should be a good receiver and earner for as long as he chooses to play. Really good draft pick
*Owen Holloway - Orange County Otters 572 TPE
He is being included in here because of the position switch. He doesn't really count for some of the drafting stuff as he was originally drafted as a quarter back. Had a decent go at quarter backing in the DSFL, then went full diva wide receiver switch. Not sure if this is an Antonio Brown style receiver, or more of a Terrell Owens type. I suppose time will tell. Hard to really say his impact in the ISFL, as he forced them to make him the number one receiver with his contract. By TPE he is their second best wide out and the fifth best offensive weapon (not including QB), but number one receiver. But his stats are more in line with a receiver two, like Mark Walker for example. Overall, a really good earner who is clearly active and plans to go for some personal stats this time around.
Mark Walker - Yellowknife Wraiths 548 TPE
Late round draftee in the DSFL draft, definitely one of the better late round draft picks. A fourth rounder in the ISFL draft and behind the other two guys, he is the next highest and I know he hasn't purchased his tier six equipment just yet. ( he has fifteen more TPE coming in from that). Solid earner, active in his locker rooms, was super active with articles last two seasons, got busy with work and hasn't posted as much. Overall a great guy(yes I know, I am talking about myself). Is not a max earner as he missed the first seasons ultimus week TPE stuff, mostly because it was the week I joined and was just too much information all at once and I knew nothing about the league at that time. But, a team player who wants to win. Great draft pick who plans on earning to his best for the life of this player.
Harley Fank - New York Silverbacks 546 TPE
Another solid wide receiver drafted in the fourth round of the ISFL and taken in round eight for the DSFL. Good earner and has stayed active throughout. Currently in the ISFL doing a solid job as a rookie wide receiver. Only a few TPE behind Walker and he was drafted a few spots behind him as well, the biggest difference for these two is when Fank got called up, this season versus last for Walker. I am assuming he is active in his locker room, I don't know, as I only really spend time in the two I was drafted into. But a good pick for the Silverbacks that should continue to produce for as long as he remains on their team.
Zach Crossley - San Jose Sabercats 540 TPE
Another rookie called up this season who is doing a find job as a rookie. Hard to be super productive as a true rookie at this position(I know Doug Howlett was huge last season as a rookie with like 600+ tpe). He was drafted one position before Mark Walker in the ISFL draft at the end of the third round. All in all, still a good pick as he is just a tiny bit behind the two guys ahead of him on this list. Seems active and fairly effective. A solid earner that if he continues will be a good weapon for whichever team he is playing for. Obviously, we shall see going forwards if he keeps earning at a high level or if it falls off. Another good draft choice. Up to this point all the receivers have been good choices.
Adam C. Spencer - New Orleans Second Line 515 TPE
The late round draft steal at this position. Taken all the way in the back of the fifth round for the ISFL draft. Great job finding this gem that late in this draft class. The best late round WR taken. Solid production for a rookie and good earning. Not sure why he fell so far in the draft, maybe some bad interviews. I don't know the person behind the player at all, but for where he was drafted an amazing pick. Looks like he will be a good solid player for seasons to come. Another good draft choice.
We definitely had some busts at the position of wide receiver. The biggest busts were Mark Callous, Alex Reed and Libby Newton from the ISFL draft, from the DSFL draft, it would be Reed, Callous and Whebet who never panned out after playing in the DSFL.
Next up is Tight End :
Wow, more tight ends than I expected. Also, all of the tight ends have been called up to the ISFL.
Dan Foster (drafted as a TE for the DSFL) Position swapped to CB 590 TPE
Darren Pama (drafted as TE for the DSFL) Position swapped to RB
Dave Batista 604 TPE
Cleg Manclaw 334 TPE
Djibutee McJimmerson (drafted as a TE in both drafts and played all of the DSFL as one) Position swapped to CB in ISFL 594 TPE
Flap N'Chick
Thomas "The Tank" Engine
Cmon Skiuuup 547 TPE Berlin
Stephon Trummer
Gabr Spladle
Jake Woodhead
Dart Ragusa
Julian Joseph
Colt Reinhorn
Joe Show
Talk about a lot of inactives for one position type, this one had a lot.
Dave Batista - Philly Liberty 604 TPE
The clear winner of players that actually play Tight End in the ISFL. Doing quite well this season as a tight end 600+ yards and four touchdowns after thirteen games. He was drafted the end of the second round and as the second tight end off the board. But that tight end that was drafted ahead of him has position swapped to corner back. So he is the highest drafted tight end from season twenty five and is the highest earner of the position. Great draft pick here, always good to draft the best player at a position.
Cmon Skiuuup - Berlin Fire Salamanders 547 TPE
The second of the players who actually play the position of tight ends still from this class. A solid earner who is active and doing all right on one of the expansion teams. But he is a vertical threat, so going forwards he has potential for getting some stats on his paper. And with the new sim, who knows what he will pick as his new archtype. But a solid pick late in the fifth round. Definitely another hit at the position of Tight end.
Cleg Manclaw - Sarasota Sailfish 334 TPE
This is are first miss of a draft for the tight ends. He was drafted before Cmon in the fourth round and has now been inactive for over a month. So bust, even though they are stull using him as a blocking tight end, which is also his arch type. He has even managed to get a few catches this season, but unless he returns soon, he will be out of the league in the next season or two.
That is it for tight ends, two good picks and the rest all pooped out into nothingness, at least once Manclaw gets removed for inactivity. If the ones who swapped were counted, then this would be a much better class for this position.
Next up is Offensive Linemen :
Felix Archstone 1-6 Baltimore 525 TPE
Marlon Alexander 6-80 New York 422 TPE
Swantavius Jones (Swapped to CB) Berlin 587 TPE
Ananda Adyan 3-37 Berlin 488 TPE
Chuck Roth 2-16 Arizona (Swapped to DT) 573
Joe Show
Clay Stallworth 2-26 Sarasota 333 TPE Inactive for over a month and a half.
Sterling Moss 8-103 Yellowknife He gone
Adam Mellott 2-19 New Orleans 557 TPE
Marc Hamel 5-58 New York 414 TPE
Medicinal Toblerone 1-10 New Orleans (Swapped to DE) 615 TPE
Duncan Donuts 6-75 Chicago Gone
Connor Quigley 5-60 Austin 369 TPE
Ninton Quelson
Kentdavion "Davie" Davis
Hank Antilles 9-113 Berlin He gone
Hugh McGree 8-105 Honolulu Gone
Smitty McGhee 7-90 Austin Gone
Macho Weber
A good number of users signed up in the DSFL as offensive linemen, but a few swapped out and remained active, and a lot got bit by the inactive bug.
Adam Mellott - New Orleans Second Line 557 TPE
My old team mate on Tijuana, a definite hit of a draft pick. Active user, all around good locker room presence, pretty sure he has an ultimini title to his name already. He is playing on a good team with good leadership, should be a solid player for seasons to come. The top offensive lineman from this draft, especially when you consider he was drafted in the second round after three other players drafted as offensive linemen. Great pick, great guy.
Felix Archstone - Baltimore Hawks 525 TPE
Second highest TPE lineman after Mellott. This is a hit, but when you consider he was drafted in the first round with the sixth overall pick, he is under earning for that high of a pick, but still a solid earner and I assume a good user. I don't know the guy at all. But, a good human controlled OL is always a good thing to have and he is active and alive. So good pick, maybe a little high, but still good.
Ananda Adyan - Berlin Fire Salamanders 488 TPE
A good third round pick up for the expansion team that needed everything. Not a super high earner, but a good one. Seems active, don't know the user at all. If this user keeps it up, can easily be a good piece of that offensive line for many seasons. Good pick for a late third rounder.
Marlon Alexander - New York Silverbacks 422 TPE
Not a high earner, but finding an active human OL this late in the draft is a steal. Marlon was drafted way back in the sixth round. Even though the TPE is on the low side for a season 25 draftee, but with how late in the draft he went, still a hit.
Marc Hamel - New York Silverbacks 414 TPE
Another late round pick from New York, he actually went before Marlon in the fifth round, but an active OL from the fifth round followed by another from the sixth round? Kudos to their scout team. Not a super active earner, but above 400 and still earning, so can easily get quite a few seasons out of this player. So, another hit.
Connor Quigley - Austin Copperheads 369 TPE
Technically an active OL. Barely active, but still alive. So he counts. As of right now this is a meh of a draft pick. Was drafted in the fifth round. Hard to say how long he will stick around. But could still step it up and get more active.
That covers it for active players at this position. Not a lot of them stayed at their position or active. Over all not a bad class, just has a few lower tier earners, but as an OL, you can be effective without massive amounts of TPE.
That covers the offensive side of the ball. Next article will be the defensive side.
Depending on position, like quarterback they are likely still in the DSFL, while random others already got the call up.
